As you probably noticed, in the afternoon there was brief maintenance of Destiny 2 followed by the publication of a small update, thanks to which Bungie started the new event: the 2019 Solstice of Heroes.
Over the next few weeks, in fact, you will be able to carry out various activities to enhance the armor of the event to the point of making it prodigious and, at the launch of Shadowkeep, you will receive the 2.0 version of the entire set from the gunsmith. It is, therefore, the perfect opportunity to prepare for the launch of the next expansion, because thanks to the grinding of the event you will end up with a legendary set equipped with new slots for upgrades. Among the other innovations, we find the 3-player mode (equipped with matchmaking) in which the Guardians will have to face bosses in the European Air Zone. Successfully completing the task you will get different items in the chests, whose number varies according to the number of defeated bosses.
To kick off the event you’ll have to take a walk to the Tower, where Eva Levante is waiting for you to give you the first piece of armor: the helmet. You could also take the opportunity to visit Tess Everis, whose store has been invaded by lots of exclusive contents of the event, which can be purchased with both silver and luminous powder. In case you were wondering, the event will end next Tuesday, August 27, 2019, just two weeks before the launch of Shadowkeep.
We remind you that Ombre dal Profondo will arrive on 17 September 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Furthermore, on the occasion of the launch of Year 3, the game will no longer be available on Battle.net and will move to Steam, where the free-to-play Destiny New Light version will also arrive. The transition to the new client will be completely free for all PC game owners and will take place via the official website between the end of August and the beginning of September.
Did you know that with the Year 3 of Destiny 2 the Last Word catalyst should also arrive?
