Nintendo Will Bring Luigi’s Mansion 3, Astral Chain and Zelda Link’s Awakening to Gamescom

Nintendo E3 2019: A Direct Announced for June 11th

In addition to bringing a series of upcoming Nintendo Play titles to Gamescom, scheduled for Tuesday, August 20 in Cologne, Nintendo will also offer fans around the world a series of insights on several previously announced titles, including Luigi’s Mansion 3, Astral Chain and The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening.

In a series of videos published August 20 to 22, Nintendo of Europe product experts will show new gameplay from the following Nintendo Switch titles:

  • Luigi’s Mansion 3
  • The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening
  • Astral Chain
  • Dragon Quest XI S Echoes of a lost era Final edition
  • Mario & Sonic at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games
  • The Witcher III Wild Hunt Complete Edition

Meanwhile, visitors to the Nintendo stand in Hall 9 at Gamescom in Cologne, from Tuesday 20th to Saturday 24th August, will be able to test a series of games coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019, including Luigi’s Mansion 3 , The Legend of Zelda Link’s AwakeningPokémon Sword & Shield Pokémon , Daemon x Machina , Dragon Quest XI S Echoes of a lost era Final Edition , and try The Witcher III Wild Hunt Complete Edition for the first time . All titles will be playable on the top of the range Nintendo Switch console.

Whether they visit Gamescom in person or assist from home, fans of the competitive action of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate can only be on the move, as players invited to the Smash Ball Team Cup last season will compete in Nintendo Live: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – Gamescom 2019 Invitational Thursday 22 August. The winners will fly to Japan for the Super Smash Bros Ultimate World Challenge Cup , to be held during the Nintendo Live event on October 14 in Kyoto, and will compete as a European team against qualified teams from Japan and North America, as well as participating in a team composed of the best players from various countries, in a special gala tournament. Fans will be able to name the players they would like to see compete at Gamescom.

The live Nintendo Super Smash Bros Ultimate Gamescom 2019 Invitational, which will take place live Thursday afternoon 22 August, will be streamed in English on Nintendo UK’s YouTube channel. Stay tuned for more announcements. In addition, Nintendo’s stage at Gamescom will host the first national qualifiers for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. seasons in the Ultimate European Team Cup and the Splatoon 2 European Championship, which will be streamed in German on Friday and Saturday respectively.
