Today, the PlayStation conference was held at the ChinaJoy 2019, a major Chinese consumer technology event. As announced, and as we showed on our website, Sony showed trailers of seven games related to the China Hero Project program.
There was however a great absentee that the fans immediately noticed: it is Lost Soul Aside, the Action RPG of the author Yang Bing, inspired by Final Fantasy XV. The game had impressed in some good trailers and demos shown over time, and many expected his presence and perhaps a more in-depth reveal during the Chinese event, also due to the continuous delays he suffered.
So, unfortunately, it was not, but Sony itself wanted to clarify the reasons for the absence of the game, revealing that the development team preferred to stay focused on work. Here are Sony’s statements: “The team has grown a lot since last year, and rather than thinking of a demo for the ChinaJoy 2019 they have chosen to focus completely on the development of the game. We respect the author Yang Bing and his group very much, and development takes time.”
So the mystery is revealed, even if Sony hasn’t made it clear when we can actually know more about the game. What do you think?
