The Good Life, the New Game from Swery 65, Postponed to 2020

The Good Life

Despite the successful Kickstarter campaign and the promise to deliver the game by the end of 2019, the new Swery 65 project, The Good Life, has been postponed to 2020. The explanation is simple: the developer wants to focus on the quality of the title and work on further details.

So we need some more time before seeing the finished product, and now the release should be scheduled by the spring of 2020. Swery 65 is the author of Deadly Premonition and D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die.

The announcement of the delay was accompanied by a video, which shows the initial version of The Good Life, and the progress it has made to date, along with some early stages of gameplay. Indeed there are many more details both on the character itself and on the setting. Photography is now in effect a mini-game, and there are game sections where the main character is turned into a cat.

New updates are described on Kickstarter, including a larger map, gardening mechanics and lots of little things. We leave you with the video that you find as usual at the top of the news. What do you think of the new Swery 65 game?
