Bloodstained: The Team Concentrates Resources to Improve the Limping Switch Version

Bloodstained Ritual Of The Night

Although it was generally welcomed by critics and fanbases, Bloodstained Ritual of the Night was harshly criticized by Nintendo Switch owners, who found themselves in the hands of an excessively castrated version of the Metroidvania from a technical and graphic point of view.

Inti Creates is not yet ready to publish the patch that will solve the problems affecting the current game build but has provided a new update on the ongoing work. Apparently, the development team recently moved most of its resources and workforce to the Switch edition, and also accepted additional support from WayForward and the Unreal Engine team.

It seems that the task of bringing Bloodstained to Switch in step with the other versions of the game is, therefore, proving to be more complex than expected, but it is at least comforting to know that the developers are now doing everything they can to improve the situation as soon as possible.

“This is a slow process, and we apologize for the delay,” said Jason Ryan, senior community manager of 505 Games. “When we implement optimizations, we want the wait to be worth it.

Pending further updates, we remind you that Bloodstained Ritual of the Night is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Did you know that the development team followed a particular rule for creating game bosses?
