During the wide presentation of the multiplayer section of Call of Duty Modern Warfare held by Activision and Infinity Ward, the Terrestrial War mode was unveiled, becoming part of the game package offered by the new chapter of the successful first-person shooter series.
As explained by the developers, this is a particularly ambitious way in numerical terms, since it will host games with over 100 players. From the outset, we could immediately send everything back to a new Battle Royale in the wake of Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout, this is not the case: Terrestrial War is in fact a sort of large-scale Domain, with the classic flags scattered around the map to be conquered and protected. While adding new ingredients to the mix that can enrich the playful offer, the intent of Infinity Ward is, in fact, to remain anchored to the core gameplay that has historically characterized the production: this is why, for example, the killstreak.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from 25 October 2019. The Activision shooter, shown yesterday in a new multiplayer trailer, will be in Beta during the month of September.
