Destiny 2: The Shadowkeep DLC and the New Light Version Are Delayed

Destiny 2 Shadowkeep

The developers of Bungie announce through their social channels the slippage on the launch date of the free version of Destiny 2 New Light and Shadowkeep, the Shadows from the Deep expansion that will mark the beginning of the Year 3 of the sci-fi shooter on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Originally scheduled for September 17th, the new release date for New Light and Shadowkeep will be Tuesday 1st October on all platforms. As for the version intended for Google Stadia users, there should be no further postponements, especially in light of the fact that the new service in-game streaming of the Mountain View giant, as scheduled, should open its doors in November.

The free version of New Light will include all the contents of the original Destiny 2 adventure dedicated to the Guardians campaign in the Red War and the additional missions of the Year 1 related to the expansions “The Curse of Osiris” and “The Bellic Mind” , as well as obviously all updates and post-launch updates that also affect the current version of Destiny 2.

As for Ombre dal Profondo, Bungie’s plan was and remains that of proposing it as a stand-alone expansion through an adventure capable of offering us an all-round gaming experience and a mature narrative that will lead us to explore a mysterious immersed alien arcology in the silver regulatory of the Moon.
