As widely anticipated in recent days, Infinity Ward and Activision have kicked off the presentation of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer by publishing a high-performance trail trailer.
The film, on the notes of Enter Sandman by Metallica , gives us a taste of the thrilling action that we will be able to live on the multiplayer battlefields of the new first-person shooter, showing us at the same time the maps in which we will fight and the weapons that we will have the opportunity to take up. Infinity Ward said it was “the most revolutionary multiplayer ever appeared in the series” . As it has been known for some time, it will support cross-play between all platforms and will receive DLCs free of charge (a Season Pass will not be offered).
At the end of the trailer, an Open Beta was also announced, which will take place in two phases during the month of September. The first will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive and will take place in Early Access on 12 and 13 September for all those who made the pre-order. From September 14th to 16th, all other players in possession of the Sony console will be able to join. The second phase, instead, will involve all the platforms and will serve to test the cross-play functionalities. On 19 and 20 September, it will be in Early Access for those who have pre-ordered the game on Xbox One and PC and for all PlayStation 4 owners. From 21 to 23 September it will be open for everyone, without any limitation. To recap:
