Originally planned on Nintendo Wii U, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, episode of the saga released in 2005 on Xbox and then in HD version on PS3, PC and PS Vita between 2011 and 2012, will also see the light on Nintendo Switch, even if at today the release date is still unknown.
Things could be about to change soon, to the delight of those waiting for the video game: the official Twitter account of the game has indeed posted an update which suggests that the arrival of the title on Nintendo’s hybrid console is imminent:
“We have seen that everyone in the Nintendo Switch community talks about Boost Mode, so we thought we would let you know that Stranger is coming and is using Boost Mode to do even faster,” the tweet reads.
The post refers to the Nintendo Switch Boost Mode, a mode that gives some extra power to the console hardware to facilitate the work of the developers. If Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath uses this functionality, or if it is a simple joke by the authors, it is not clear.
In any case, according to what we read, there should not be much left to the release date of the game. What do you think? How long are you waiting for Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath?
