A few days ago, Microsoft announced the August line-up for Xbox Game Pass, consisting of Downwell, Space Hulk Tactics and four other titles. Evidently, the Redmond house thought it wasn’t enough, adding two more games, both with InXile!
The first of the two is actually a collection, The Bard’s Tale Trilogy for PC and Xbox One. His arrival is scheduled for August 13, two weeks before the launch of The Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut set for August 27th. The latter title will debut on Xbox One and PC Windows 10 directly within the Xbox Game Pass catalogue. In this way, thanks to the inclusion of the original trilogy, subscribers to the service can best prepare for the release of the fourth chapter of the series. The Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut, we point out, will be launched on the same day also on PlayStation 4.
The second title announced for Xbox Game Pass is Wasteland 30th Anniversary Edition, for which however we will have to wait until the last part of the year. Also, in this case, its inclusion is not at all accidental since it will anticipate the launch of Wasteland 3 (which will be present in a playable form at the Gamescom ) scheduled for next spring.
What do you think of this news? For the uninitiated, inXile Entertainment was acquired by Microsoft last November. Nevertheless, it did not interrupt the multi-platform development of The Bard’s Tale IV and Wasteland 3.
