In a multiplayer title like the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare it is very important to always know where your teammates are and, apparently, Infinity Ward has come up with a system that allows players to never lose sight of their allies.
The absence of a minimap in Modern Warfare will in fact be compensated by the arrival of a new feature, thanks to which users can see the outline of the players present in their team when they are behind a wall. When the allies are in front of us and there is no obstacle, we can simply see the nickname on the head. This is just one of the many new features coming up in the reboot of the fourth chapter, which will also feature a 100 player mode called the Terrestrial War.
Please note that its release date is set for October 25, 2019, on the following platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (only on Battle.net). COD Modern Warfare will support cross-play for the first time in the series and this feature will take into account the control system used by players to avoid problems during matchmaking.
Did you know that the COD Modern Warfare framerate on PC will be unlocked?
Had a typo – It only outlines when friendlies are obstructed by walls and geometry. When they are in plain sight its tag and small ui indicators.
