Geoff Keighley announced that the Opening Night Live, the special opening show for Gamescom 2019 he presented, will host world premieres and new announcements from over 15 publishers such as Sony Interactive Entertainment, Xbox Game Studios, Capcom, Square Enix and many others yet.
The announcement came with a tweet published by Geoff Keighley, the famous editor of The Game Awards who this year decided to set up a similar show for Gamescom 2019, offering an opening show in which numerous announcements will be hosted by the major players in the videogame industry.
As you can read in the tweet, the Opening Night Live will host world premiere and announcements from over 15 publishers, including:

- Electronic Arts
- Epic Games
- Google Stadia
- Koch Media / Deep Silver
- Private Division
- Square Enix
- Sony Interactive Entertainment
- THQ Nordic
- Xbox Game Studios
A very large list, with many major publishers that could reserve very interesting announcements at the Gamescom 2019 in Cologne.
Recall that the Opening Night Live will be broadcast starting from 20:00 Italian time on Monday 19 August, and that Hideo Kojima will be one of the main stars of the event. Geoff Keighley himself has confirmed that Death Stranding will be the protagonist of the Gamescom 2019 opening show, an occasion in which completely new material will be shown on the highly anticipated game of Metal Gear Solid’s father.
