If you are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Halo: Reach beta on Xbox One, know that there is very bad news for you. 343 Industries has in fact postponed the trial version of the game due to complex technical problems.
It seems in fact that the memory of the very first Xbox One is not enough to manage the Unreal Engine 4, an additional game engine that will be implemented for the sole component relating to the management of the character.
Here are the words of the developers on the issue:
“As we said earlier, creating a game is not easy, especially if you are dealing with 11 graphics engines and 7 different games combined in one title. One of the goals we set ourselves for the Xbox One version of Halo Reach in the Master Chief Collection is to bring the UE4 in the part related to the personalization of the character. “
“Such an undertaking should not be underestimated since the Master Chief Collection exploits all the memory of the standard Xbox One. Using the UE4 for personalization and character progression requires additional memory.”
At the moment there is no further information on how and how much these issues will be resolved and it could be a long time before 343 Industries can find a solution.
