Just a few days after the start of the new edition of the Gamescom in Cologne, Google announces its second Stadia Connect, an event in which further details regarding the streaming gaming platform arriving in November will be revealed.
The Mountain View giant has confirmed that the new streaming event will be held on YouTube on Monday 19 August. In addition to addressing and investigating already known topics, it is expected that the company of Philip Harrison will now be ready to communicate the exact date on which Stadia will finally make its long-awaited debut in the videogame market by clashing with industry superpowers, such as Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. The announcements of new games, exclusive and not exclusive, that can enrich the launch line-up of the platform are not to be excluded.
While going so far as to anticipate the start of the German fair, Google also confirmed its presence at GamesCom 2019: it will in fact be part of the Opening Night Live program, at whose helm we will find the usual Geoff Keighley. Further information, therefore, could arrive during this event opening show, in which announcements and world premieres are expected from all the major publishers of the industry, including Sony Interactive Entertainment, Xbox Game Studios, Capcom, Square Enix and many others.
