After presenting their recent significant financial results, Capcom offered more details on the performance achieved by three great software house games.
This is Resident Evil 2 Remake, the fifth chapter of the Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter: World series. The entire triad has achieved positive results in terms of commercial success. In particular, reporting data updated as of June 30 this year, Capcom reports that:
- Resident Evil 2 Remake can count on 4.5 million copies distributed;
- Monster Hunter: World boasts 13.1 million copies distributed;
- Devil May Cry V settles at 2.5 million units distributed;
The forecasts of the software house regarding the commercial potential of its productions are also still extremely positive. In fact, Capcom expects that by the end of the current fiscal year, both Resident Evil 2 Remake and Devil May Cry V could be able to sell an additional million copies each.
The Company does not lean instead on the possible commercial results of Iceborne, the great expansion of Monster Hunter World which is preparing for its debut on the gaming market. However, Capcom recognizes that the announcement of the same, together with a discount campaign, has boosted sales of MHW.
