The data processed by the company exclusively include physical sales for the first six months of the year, thus excluding the performances obtained on digital markets. The European countries considered for statistical purposes are different and include Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Norway, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, and Spain.
Based on the findings of GfK Entertainment, FIFA 19 and Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe are reigning supreme on the 2019 videogame of the Old Continent. The timeless Grand Theft Auto V also deserves an honorable mention: despite having been present on the market for six years now, the Rockstar game has in fact ranked third in five of the European countries considered.
