Take-Two and 2K to take the privacy of their ads very seriously. The Youtuber SupMatto knew it at his own expense, and after publishing some Borderlands 3 leaks he was visited by some private investigators sent by the two companies.
After publishing some Borderlands 3 leaks on its own channel, the Youtuber SupMatto received a somewhat unexpected visit. In front of his house, in fact, private investigators sent by Take-Two and 2K showed up.
“On Thursday, July 25th, private investigators showed up at my house, they violated my private property and interrogated me. I was very tense as many of you may imagine, seeing two strangers in suits and suits go to your house,” tells Youtuber.
“As the lawyers said, I probably shouldn’t have talked to them. But I did, because I don’t feel like I have something to hide. They questioned me about various things related to my channel. They told me they were from Take-Two Interactive. I think we talked for 30 to 40 minutes. ” explains Supatto.
In the last hours the confirmation of Take-Two and 2K also arrived, which with the following statement explained the reasons behind their provision against SupMatto: “Take-Two and 2K take the security and confidentiality of trade secrets very seriously. The action we have taken is the result of a 10-month investigation conducted on this Youtuber that has profited from the violation of our policies, from the loss of confidential information on our product and from the infringement of our copyright. “
At the moment it is not clear whether Take-Two will take further action against SupMatto. Meanwhile, YouTuber has decided to suspend its activities and close its Twitter account, waiting to see how the business will develop. What do you think?
