Codemasters has published a free update for the PC version of DiRT Rally 2.0 which adds full support to VR. The racing game can be played entirely in virtual reality with the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive viewers.
There are two options for playing DiRT Rally 2.0 in virtual reality on a PC. Or via the Steam version, which received the free update that introduces VR support, or by directly purchasing the game on Oculus Store.
In the case of the Steam version, it will be possible to play in virtual reality with the HTC Vive viewer only. In the case of the version available on Oculus Store, obviously, to play in VR you will need to use an Oculus Rift viewer. If you buy DiRT Rally 2.0 on Oculus Store, you will receive 5 exclusive liveries for your cars.
This free update certainly presents itself as an excellent opportunity for all HTC Vive and Oculus Rift owners to return to play with DiRT Rally 2.0. We also remind you that the Codemasters racing game was updated last June with the new contents of Season 2.
