At the moment it is possible to play No Man’s Sky on all platforms of the current generation except for Nintendo Switch, but things could change soon.
The game’s creator and founder of Hello Games, Sean Murray, said he was interested in the possibility of developing a Nintendo console version of his space simulator.
Here are Murray’s words:
“It’s very interesting. I love Switch. We are obviously focused on what we are working on at the moment, but we also spent a lot of time on PlayStation VR to optimize the game. I would be interested in understanding what is possible and what is not. Currently, however, we have other projects that require our attention. “
It seems therefore that a Nintendo Switch version of No Man’s Sky may arrive in the future, but it takes time to allow the Hello Games team to finish work on the next free expansion of the game and to study in-depth the capabilities of the hybrid console of the Grande N, whose technical capabilities are rather limited.
We remind you that in a few days there will be the launch of No Man’s Sky Beyond, a free expansion that introduces many new features, among which we also find support for virtual reality and online multiplayer.
