Despite having been out for more than seven years, Borderlands 2 is still a success and since last May more than 2 million copies have been sold.
To have driven the recent sales of the title, which now boasts 22 million copies sold in total (the entire series has instead reached 48 million), were certainly two factors: the first is represented by the incredible hype that users have for the third chapter and the second, instead, consists in the curiosity towards the recent debut of the free expansion Lilith and the battle for Sanctuary, which serves as a prologue for the history of Borderlands 3.
In case you missed it, we remind you that in addition to the arrival of Borderlands Game of the Year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, a free update of Borderlands The Handsome Collection has recently been released on all platforms introducing resolution support 4K, Ultra HD and HDR textures.
On the other hand, Borderlands 3 will arrive on the shelves of all stores starting from September 13, 2019, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (exclusively on the Epic Games Store).
