From the United States bounce rumors that they would like the leaders of Annapurna Pictures about to declare bankruptcy. Could the eventual bankruptcy of the company founded by Megan Ellison mark the untimely end of the emerging publisher Annapurna Interactive?
The concerns related to the closure of the gaming division by the Californian company have caused a real wave of messages and discussions on the main social channels and on the sector forums.
Without going into the details of the rumors about the fate of Annapurna Pictures, the representatives of the subsidiary Annapurna Interactive have thus tried to respond and reassure their fans by declaring that “we are not going anywhere!”, thus removing (hopefully) the specter of failure.
From 2016 to today, the leaders of Annapurna Interactive have managed to carve out an increasingly large space in the heart of video game enthusiasts thanks to the publication of titles such as What Remains of Edith Finch , the souslike Ashen , The Pathless , Florence and Outer Wilds, as well as to the transposition of Nintendo’s Gone Home , to Flower’s mobile systems and, more recently, to the iOS version of Journey. Of course, we will keep you updated in case of future developments.
