Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled was a huge success for Beenox, which was able to capitalize on the good moment of the Crash Bandicoot brand, giving the community a great remake of the historic karting game for PlayStation.
After the arrival of the second Grand Prix dedicated to the prehistoric age, microtransactions were introduced in CTR, which did not seem to have affected the popularity of the game, indeed. In the United Kingdom, for example, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is back at the top of the sales charts, ousting Fire Emblem: Three Houses from the throne after only a week, which instead falls to seventh place.
Thanks to the absence of major releases in the past week, the racing of Beenoxmanaged to get back on the top step of the podium (last week it was third) despite a drop in sales of 14%.
In the second and third place, we find instead two exclusive Nintendo: Super Mario Maker 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. There are no new releases in the Top 10 but they are now part of Red Dead Redemption 2 and F1 2019. Always in the ranking the evergreen FIFA 19 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
