Pending Reboot, Grid 2 Has Been Removed From Digital Stores

The announcement of the reboot of Grid by Codemasters is about to give new life to the automotive saga, which in the meantime has “lost a piece”. This is Grid 2, the second, appreciated, a chapter of the motor series, which has just been removed from the stores.

Originally released in 2013 as a Race Driver: Grid sequel, the title was in fact praised by both critics and fans, but it is no longer a few hours available on digital stores like Steam, and even the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions have been removed.

Codemasters did not explain the reasons for the decision, but it could be something related to the rights of cars, tracks, and music. The same first chapter of the saga was removed from the stores in January 2017 by now.

The Steam page of the game reads: “At the request of the publisher, Grid 2 is no longer available on Steam “, and as mentioned above, the PS3 and Xbox 360 stores can no longer be purchased.

Of course, those who have already purchased the game can still use it and download it to their system. The Grid will return with a reboot that will debut on October 11th on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The third installment of the saga, Grid Autosport, is about to receive a port on Nintendo Switch.
