Twitch: The Old Ninja Channel Used to … Promote Porn

Fortnite: A User Created Funny Skins Inspired by Ninja, Drlupo and Other Streamer

As we told you last week, the world of videogame streaming was marked by an epochal transition: Ninja, one of the most famous streamers in the world, went from producing content on Twitch to doing it exclusively for Mixer, the emerging platform owned by of Microsoft.

The move turned out to be a success for the Redmond giant , as the popular streamer managed to pull behind already over a million fans who signed up for its new channel, even though Twitch, according to some analysts, should not be missed much more in terms of visibility, being able however to count on a team of talented people of all respect.

In the last few hours, however, a small case is mounted: it seems that the former Ninjaaccount was used by Twitch herself to promote another streamer. Definitely a rather unattractive gesture on the part of the company, which then found itself in an even more serious error. Among the channels advertised there was also one that broadcast pornographic streaming.

Considering that Ninja’s fanbase is quite young, it’s rather embarrassing that some kids, maybe looking for an old streamer video, were encouraged by Twitch to watch porn. Ninja, realizing the situation, posted a video in which he apologized to the fans, although obviously not his fault, and requested that Twitch remove the old account.

In the past few hours, fortunately, he was satisfied, and now the former Ninja channel has the same look as the other “sleeping” accounts on the platform. All is well that ends well, in short.
