Through the pages of the German PlayStation Blog, Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe announced the PS4 lineup for Cologne’s Gamescom. Sony will not hold a press conference, limiting its presence at the show to show floor only, with various scheduled activities and playable stations freely accessible to visitors.
Four First Party games present at the Sony Gamescom 2019 stand, namely Dreams (already available in Early Access), MediEvil (coming in October), Concrete Genie(released October 9) and ReadySet Heroes. As for third party games, the Sony Interactive Entertainment pavilion will host Final Fantasy VII Remake, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Remedy Control (coming August 26) and Granblue Fantasy Versus.
A lineup maybe not too rich but certainly interesting, thanks to the presence of games like Concrete Genie, MediEvil, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Control and Call of Duty Modern Warfare. In the case of Final Fantasy 7 and COD Modern Warfare, the two titles will be playable by the public for the first time ever in Europe, after being shown in June at E3 in Los Angeles.
The Gamescom 2019 will be held in Cologne August 20 to 24, at 20:00 (Italian time) on Monday, August 19 will be held the show Opening Night with many premieres, unique gameplay and new ads from the German fair. The opening ceremony of the fair will give ample space to Death Stranding, as confirmed by the publisher, however, the work of Hideo Kojima will not be present in a playable form.
