After the double failure of Radical Heights and Lawbreakers, which then forced him to close his company Boss Key Productions, Cliff Bleszinski had left the videogame industry forever. Or at least those seemed to be his intentions, since the author of Gears of War could now star to retrace his own steps.
The former developer of Epic Games has indeed revealed on Twitter that he had an idea for a video game that for some time has been tormenting him, and that could, therefore, lead him to the sensational decision to return to action. In the tweet you find at the bottom of the news you can read:
“UGH, guys I think I have an idea for a game and I can’t get it out of my mind. I thought I was done, but then my stupid brain came back like this. UGH.”
But what kind of game could it be? Basically, Bleszinski has always had a certain weakness for shooters and action, so it would be reasonable to expect a title that winks at the genre. Of one thing we can be certain though: “It will not be a battle ** of Battle Royale!”, as he himself declared in a new, more colorful tweet in caps locks.
What do you think of the situation? Would you be happy to see Cliff Bleszinski again in action? What video game would you like to see him develop?
AND IT'S NOT A FUCKING BATTLE ROYALE
