Biomutant: 20 Minutes of Gameplay Video From the Gamescom 2019 Demo

As promised by THQ Nordic before the opening of the Gamescom 2019, Experiment 101 developers are producing in a new BioMutant video demonstration, grappling with the playable demo in the stands of the Cologne fair.

The test carried out by the Swedish authors allows us to become familiar with the elements that will characterize the first act of this original intellectual property from the point of view of the progression, the combat system and the freedom offered in the exploration of the open world.

The mutant feline that we will interpret in BioMutant will in fact have the opportunity to increase their powers and improve the equipment elements by interacting with the bizarre secondary characters and performing a whole series of missions, from the secondary activities connected to the plot to the “accessory” challenges with the bosses and enemies scattered around the map.

In the video we can, for example, observe the wide range of options for the evolution of the protagonist’s abilities and the rich animations in support of a combat system which, although stained by some inaccuracy, follows the gameplay experience of the last exponents of the genre as Nioh, Mad Max or Darksiders.

Despite all the recent video previews on BioMutant, the launch date of the new RPG action from Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic continues to be provided for a generic “end 2019” on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. On the other hand, however, we know that it will be marketed in the triple Standard, Atomic and Collector’s edition.
