At Gamescom in Cologne, Electronic Arts showed a trailer about the history of Volta, but much expected news on the FIFA 20 demo. Let’s try to clarify by putting together the latest rumors and speculations on the release date of the trial version.
The publisher has already confirmed that FIFA 20 will have a playable demo, which will be distributed on Origin, PlayStation Store and Xbox Store in September, but when exactly will it be downloadable? Recall that the PES 2020 demo is already available from the end of July, the trial version of FIFA 20 will, therefore, arrive in net delay compared to the rival, in any case by mid-September, as per tradition.
FIFA 20 Demo Output
The most accredited hypothesis wants the publication of the FIFA 20 demo between 8 and 15 September 2019, last year the FIFA 19 demo was published on September 13th, so there is a good chance that Electronic Arts can keep this date, perhaps with 24-hour early access (12 September) for EA Access subscribers. The latter will be able to play with the ten-hour test from September 19th while the full version will be released on September 24th for subscribers and for those who have booked special editions, all others will have to wait until September 27th, official launch days.
EA Sports does not make a mistake about the release date of the FIFA 20 demo, probably the first official news will arrive in early September, it will be difficult to disseminate information about Gamescom 2019, scheduled until August 24th.
