Square Enix has announced the release date of Final Fantasy VIII Remastered for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Contrary to expectations, the game will be released sooner than expected and will be available next month.

Final Fantasy 8 Remastered will be on sale from September 3rd at a price of $19.99 / euro, exclusively in digital format, although in the past there has been talking of a possible physical edition, currently not confirmed by the publisher.
This reissue will present an improved technical sector, the possibility of deactivating random encounters and speeding up the game up to a speed of 3x, excluding cutscenes. The PC edition of Final Fantasy VIII will also enjoy additional aesthetic improvements and additions not present on consoles such as support for tricks to unlock various options right away, exactly as it happened with Final Fantasy 7 Remastered on Steam.
