Remedy Publishes Control’s Launch Trailer, the New Paranormal Metroidvania

On the occasion of Gamescom 2019, the authors of Remedy Entertainment offer us the launch trailer for Control, the new action Metroidvania coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in late August.

The video proposed by the Finnish developers emphasizes the narrative component of the work and, more precisely, the cast of characters that will gravitate around the figure of Jesse Faden.

The director of the Federal Bureau of Control will have the delicate task of avoiding the invasion of New York by a host of multidimensional beings (called Hiss) able to bend the space-time fabric and infest the soul of those who have the misfortune of getting in touch.

In spite of adversities, the young Jesse will be able to resist the influence of these mysterious beings and, against all odds, she will be able to absorb its powers to evolve her abilities and improve the “alien gun” in her possession, all following a playful progression typically Metroidvania with main missions alternated with secondary activities based on the exploration of the Oldest House, the government complex that will be the backdrop to our adventures.

As the video at the beginning of the article reminds us, Control’s marketing is therefore scheduled for August 27th on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. If you want to cheat the wait for the release of Sam Lake’s new paranormal action, you can retrace the story of Remedy from Max Payne a Control with our special video.
