Gamescom 2019 does not seem to cease to hold surprises related to Death Stranding. In fact, from his official Twitter account, Hideo Kojima announces the existence of a further trailer for the game, which however was not shown during the opening ceremony.
During the Opening Night Live show, conducted by Geoff Keighley, the videogame author showed the public three different movies:
- A trailer dedicated to the presentation of the character of Mama, played by Margaret Qualley;
- A trailer dedicated to the presentation of the character of Deadman, played by Guillermo Del Toro;
- A gameplay excerpt lasting about six minutes, during which some glimpses of the title were shown and an unpublished character introduced, presenting the features of Geoff Keighley;
As you can see in the twitter that you find at the bottom of this news, however, Hideo Kojima has announced that at the Sony Playstation Booth of the Cologne Trade Fair an “exclusive trailer” is available, entitled “Briefing”. Regarding the latter, the author reports: “Explain what Sam (player) will do in the game, and I think you will understand the more concrete purpose of the game”.
For now, no further information is available: however, we can hope that, as already happened with the Heartman presentation trailer (initially shown exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con), this additional trailer can later be shared with the general public.
