Following the rumors and after suddenly appearing on the pages of the US PlayStation Store, Yakuza Remastered Collection, in which players will find a triptych of the series composed of Yakuza 3, 4 and 5, it was officially announced by SEGA.
About a year ago, SEGA announced Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 in a Remastered version for the Japanese market, and never confirmed the Western publication. Apparently, the publisher has finally decided to fix it, deciding however to include all three games in one collection.
According to what is reported on Twitter, it is the only Yakuza 3 Remastered that is immediately available for download on PlayStation 4. Yakuza 4 will be published on October 29th, while the fifth chapter will arrive on February 11th, 2020. Once all the episodes, a physical edition of the collection will also arrive, presumably scheduled for next year.
As you can see through the twitter you find at the bottom, all the original contents (including those of the cut content) will be included in the western versions of the games, which can also count on a location updated to modern standards. Also confirmed are the 1080p at 60fps and the texts in English for the famous karaoke mini-game.
Yakuza 3 is available TODAY on PS4 with:
✅ Overhauled localization
✅ All cut content restored
✅ 60 fps, 1080p gameplay
✅ English karaoke lyrics
✅ Substory markers
Yakuza 4 is coming late October, and Yakuza 5 is coming February!
