In the new video episode of PS Undeground, content creators of the PlayStation YouTube channel taking advantage of the Gamescom 2019 media showcase to show us a new 20-minute demonstration video of Control, the ambitious Remedy paranormal Metroidvania due out in late August.
The new video takes us back to the four walls of the Oldest House to face the threat posed by the multidimensional Hiss beings together with Jesse Faden, the courageous and mysterious director of the Federal Bureau of Control that we will interpret during the adventure.
The playful and narrative approach adopted by the Finnish team led by Sam Lake will ensure that users experience the widest freedom of action and movement in an attempt to cope with this supernatural enigma : our alter-ego, for example, he will be able to open new gates in the Oldest House by facing secondary missions that will allow him, once completed, to acquire new skills and equipment elements.
In order to join the battle against the Hiss creatures, we will have to wait until Control comes out, scheduled for the upcoming next August 27 on PC (with full support for Ray Tracing ), Xbox One and, of course, PlayStation 4. The new action Metroidvania of the authors of Max Payne, Alan Wake, and Quantum Break will arrive in November also on Google Stadia, as confirmed by the same summits of Remedy during the Gamescom Stadia Connect.
