During Gamescom 2019, Cyberpunk Producer 2077, Richard Bozimowski, was able to give an interesting interview, during which he described what to expect in Night City.
In a chat with the editors of USGamer, Bozimowsky offered the image of a city whose neighborhoods each have their own soul. The inequalities in the world of Cyberpunk 2077 have in fact also crystallized in the architecture of Night City, a changing and complex city. In the richer area, we can expect to find high and spectacular skyscrapers, but the situation will be very different in the poorer areas.
For example, says Bozimowski, in one of the poorest neighborhoods, Pacifica, ” you could probably shoot a person, and if nobody saw you then they wouldn’t care about anyone .” The situation in the Center is different, where a violent action would attract the attention of the police. But that’s not all: the Night City neighborhoods will welcome people who dress in different styles, and in the city, we will hear different languages. In the richest areas, among the latter could be the Japanese, associated in the Cyberpunk universe with a person of high social class. Not surprisingly, just Japantown will welcome a large number of very rich people.
During the Gamescom, the Game Producer also had the opportunity to discuss the possible introduction of a New Game Plus system in Cyberpunk 2077. During the fair, it was also confirmed that the production of CD Projekt Red will also be published on Google Stadia.
