The Dragon Quest XI Definitive Edition demo is now available for download from Nintendo eShop and some have taken advantage of the opportunity to compare the Switch version with the PC edition of the JRPG Square Enix.
Dragon Quest XI runs at 30 fps on Nintendo Switch in dock mode, the framerate is stable and never shows drops or crashes, just like on Windows. A second video compares the technical sector instead, putting the game in comparison with the PC version with low details: Nintendo Switch comes out victorious from the clash thanks to a visual impact of higher quality for texture, shader, and character assets, some problem instead of as regards the vegetation, not always impeccable.
We recall in closing that the game will be available from September 27 on Nintendo Switch in retail and digital format, the demo is now downloadable free from eShop. The Definitive Edition of Dragon Quest XI Echoes of a Lost Era includes a new narrative arc, new missions, improved dubbing and remastered soundtrack with orchestral tracks, absent in the PS4 and PC versions.
