Gamescom 2019 brought several new features to the Gears of War universe and some of these also involved Gears Tactics, a project announced by Microsoft during E3 2018.
Conceived as a spin-off of the main saga, the game is proposed as a strategic title. Following the announcement, however, not much information was shared about Gears Tactics, on which, for example, no specific announcements were received at the Microsoft E3 2019 conference. Following the Los Angeles fair, however, Rod Fergusson had reassured the public, reiterating how the game was still in development.
Now, on the sidelines of Gamescom 2019, more details about the project arrive, again from the face of The Coalition. In fact, through his official Twitter account, Fergussonanswered the questions asked by a user of the social network. As you can see in the twitters you find below, it was confirmed that the creation of Gears Tactics is currently entrusted to the developers of Splash Damage. It also comes confirmation that the game, originally announced only for PC, will also land on Xbox One. Are you curious to learn more about this project?
Remaining within the universe of Gears of War, we remind you that during the special Inside Xbox broadcast on the occasion of Gamescom, The Coalition finally presented the awaited Gears 5 Campaign mode.
It’s a great team at @splashdamage and yes.
