Konami announced today that the mobile version of eFootball PES 2020 will be released in October and will be a complete overhaul of the current PES 2019 mobile game.

The latest major update of the PES Mobile series, which celebrated over 200 million downloads earlier this year, brings many of the features and key licenses already announced for eFootball PES 2020 on PCs and consoles.

New features in this year’s mobile game include Finesse Dribble, a dynamic dribbling technique created following close consultation with legendary midfielder Andrés Iniesta; a more precise ball control system and more realistic AI defensive behavior. All this translates into a deeper gaming experience, to be enjoyed anywhere and at any time on mobile devices.

In addition to these new features, eFootball PES 2020 on mobile devices will take full advantage of the many new partnerships announced this year, including licenses for Juventus FC, FC Bayern, and Manchester United. This is in addition to the renewed partnership with FC Barcelona and Arsenal, in addition to several of the top league licenses, including the Serie A Italian.

Matchday, the newest mode announced at E3 2019, will also be added in the latest version of the mobile game, encouraging players to choose one of the two teams at the start of each weekly event and contribute points to their team’s overall success.

As for PCs and consoles, significant improvements were made to the graphics and general visual presentation in eFootball PES 2020 for mobile devices. Making full use of the capabilities of Unreal Engine 4, elements such as player movement, celebrations and appearance have been made more realistic. eFootball PES 2020 will be available on the App Store for iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and Google Play for Android devices.
