During an interview granted by Aaron Greenberg to Twinfinite during Gamescom 2019, the head of marketing at Xbox explained that Microsoft intends to use the November X019 Fan Fest to celebrate the community of players on PC and Xbox One with the announcement of many video games.
Regarding the Xbox theme event that will take place in London from November 14th to 16th, the senior manager of the Redmond company says that “as we did last year in Mexico City, we will also be organizing an Inside Xbox event this time will be the biggest Xbox theme show of 2019. E3 is traditionally a trade fair, while the Xbox FanFest is an opportunity for us to celebrate the passion of our users and celebrate with them what awaits us in future”.
Having made this premise, Greenberg delves into the issue by declaring that “there will be plenty of content to show you, both from Xbox Game Studios and third-party partners. We have lots of surprises planned, I really think we’ll have a great show. I can only tell you that we have lots of games coming out of here in the spring, in fact, I think the spring lineup will be the richest we’ve ever had, so I hope our fans are good enough to finish all their games for Christmas holidays in time. they will prepare for what awaits them in the spring and what will arrive in the Game Pass at that time”.
If you want to pay attention to Greenberg, then, many of the video games that will be announced during the special Inside Xbox episode that will take place during London’s X019 Fan Fest should also “come for free” in the Xbox Game Pass catalog on PC and Xbox One. The focus of the event, therefore, will be the games coming in the spring of 2020: to learn about Microsoft’s next-gen plans, therefore, we will have to wait at least until E3 2020 with the “final” reveal of Xbox Scarlett.
In the meantime, we remind you that the Gamescom sales have officially started on the official Xbox store, with lots of discounts on games and DLC.
