Zelda Link’s Awakening: Dungeons and Bosses in Half an Hour of Video Gameplay From Gamescom

Zelda Link's Awakening Comes out on Switch on September 20th, New Trailer

After unveiling the Classic 2D challenges of Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, from the Gamescom 2019 in Cologne, the Nintendo guys set sail again in the direction of the Koholint island of Zelda Link’s Awakening to offer us a half-hour video demonstration full of food for thought.

The video produced by the team directed by Eiji Aonuma focuses on the most important elements of the gaming experience that awaits us interpreting Link in the Nintendo Switch reissue of the great Game Boy classic from 1993.

In the abundant 30 minutes of gameplay scenes immortalized by the creators of content on the Nintendo YouTube channel, we can in fact sense the efforts made by the Japanese developers in the reformulation of the dungeons of the original masterpiece , as well as in the use and enhancement of the objects found by the hero, in the progression of the challenges to be played before attempting battles with miniboss and expanding the history with the introduction of the Travel Diary.

Particularly interesting are the video clips dedicated to the dungeon editor, a completely new function that Eiji Aonuma himself wanted to integrate into the title, in the ill-concealed hope of being able to develop a Zelda Maker, to give fans the chance to experiment with gameplay solutions even more original and daring.

Without delay, we will leave you to the new video demonstration of Zelda Link’s Awakening from Gamescom 2019 and we remind you that the title will be available on Nintendo Switch starting September 20, just in time for the launch of Nintendo Switch Lite.
