No HDR for Control, All Console Versions Locked at 30FPS

A few days after publication, Lucas Liaskos of 505 Games spoke on Twitter, revealing some interesting technical information concerning Control, the new title awaited by Remedy Entertainment.

To begin with, he revealed that no version of the game will support HDR technology. This is unexpected news, at least as far as Xbox One is concerned, since the word HDR appeared on the Microsoft Store last April. However, Laskios has not clarified whether the support will be added at a later date or whether it has been completely excluded. Owners of Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro, as might be expected, will be able to console themselves with various technical improvements, the nature of which has not been disclosed. Finally, he confirmed what was reported by Remedy at the beginning of the month, that is that all the console versions of Control will run at 30fps.

Before saying goodbye, let’s remember that the paranormal Metroidvania will be launched on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on August 27th.
