Yu Suzuki Talks About Shenmue 3 Longevity and Difficulty Levels

Yu Suzuki was recently interviewed by the Japanese 4Gamer portal and in this interview (translated into English by Siliconera) he revealed new details on Shenmue 3’s longevity and level of difficulty.

The Japanese producer makes it known that the experience has been designed to be accessible to all, both to less experienced players and to the more skilled. There will be four selectable difficulty levels, called Story Mode, Recommended, Challenge and Don’t Play This: the first will facilitate the collection of materials and the fights will be simpler while the others will gradually increase the difficulty, the second level (Recommended) is the one recommended by the same Yu Suzuki.

As far as longevity is concerned, we talk about just under 30 hours in Story mode, 35/40 hours at the Recommended level and about 50 hours in Challenge mode, a value that rises further in the case of the Don’t Play This difficulty level. absolute arduous.

Recall that the game will be released on November 19 on PlayStation 4 and PC, to learn more we refer you to the Shenmue 3 test from Gamescom.
