Looking forward to seeing the new Cyberpunk 2077 video gameplay during the event that will be streamed on August 30th, CD Projekt RED’s Quest Designer, Pawel Sasko, revealed new details on game dynamics, free approach roaming and Cyberpunk 2077 narrative.
Participating in the latest podcast of the LastKnownMeal YouTube channel, Sasko has helped to shed light on some aspects of the playful and role-playing experience that awaits us in the shadow of the skyscrapers of the futuristic Night City megalopolis.
The points touched by the author of CD Projekt were three: the open world, the companions and the artificial intelligence of the enemies. Regarding open-world activities, Sasko explained that the hero V will be able to swim and, above all, dive to explore the most secret areas of the map to go in search of upgrades, rare weapons and, consequently, of trouble.
As far as companions are concerned, the developer reports that our alter-ego will not be able to give any kind of order to its partner during the shootings, except for certain circumstances of the plot in which the allies will have to follow the indications given by V.
As for the enemies, Sasko informs us that each opponent he meets will boast his equipment and a specific branch of skill that will differentiate him from the others: based on the experience gained by Netrunner from V we will be able to sense his strengths and weaknesses, but without to have a sort of Glossary like The Witcher 3. To those who follow us, let us remember that Cyberpunk 2077 will be available starting April 16 next year on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One. As announced at Gamescom by CD Projekt, we also know that Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive on Google Stadia.
