In view of the publication of Monster Hunter World Iceborne, Capcom confirmed today the details of the upcoming beta sessions, which offer four options related to the missions that players can try at home
The Monster Hunter World Iceborne Beta for PlayStation 4 will be available from 09:00 CEST on Friday 30 August at 08:59 on Monday 2 September. Subsequently, a beta will be available for Xbox One from 09:00 CEST on Monday, September 2 to 08:59 on Thursday, September 5th. The preload options will be available a few days before the start of each beta period. The basic Monster Hunter World game is not required to participate in the Iceborne beta sessions.
These pre-launch beta sessions of Monster Hunter World Iceborne are more eye-catching than ever with the addition of a new challenge in the ice. Previously available to the Gran Jagras (Beginner), Banbaro (Intermediate) and Tigrex (Expert) missions, players will be able to fight for the first time against the mythical monster Velkhana. But be careful, the Elder Dragon’s frozen breath is very dangerous and ensures a thrilling fight even for the most ferocious hunters.
Similar to previous beta sessions, hunters can test all 14 types of weapons in any of the four missions and in the training area. The weapons also feature the new features introduced with Iceborne, in addition to the new slingshot tool options such as the Rampino Artiglio mechanics. After completing each mission for the first time, hunters can earn a total of four packages of special honors containing useful consumer items that will be available in the full version of the Iceborne expansion at the time of release. Then prepare hot drinks and join the hunt to complete these missions!
