The authors of Bugbear Entertainment and the publishers of THQ Nordic crown the dream of every junkyard by officially starting the Wreckfest auto-demolition festival. The launch video celebrates the release of the console version for PS4 and Xbox One of FlatOut’s spiritual heir.
In the film with a high octane (and scrap) content packaged by Bugbear, the Finnish developers highlight the two characteristic elements of their driving game, namely the excellent physical engine dedicated to collision management and the system related to the deformation of the racing car bodies.
Thanks to the numerous improvements made by the European team to the initial project of Next Car Game during the long Early Access phase spent on Steam, the console version of Wreckfest will boast a new HUD, a more realistic damage system, more accurate particle effects and all single-player and multiplayer modes available on PC.
Wreckfest is scheduled for August 27 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at twice the price of 39.99 euro and 59.99 euro: the price difference between the Standard and Deluxe Edition will be represented by the possibility, with this’ last, to also get the Season Pass and thus have access to the additional packages that will introduce 20 new cars and 20 exclusive decals .
