Telltale Games Comes Back to Life Thanks to LCG Entertainment

Telltale Games

LCG Entertainment has announced that it has purchased assets, brands, technologies and “selected intellectual property” from Telltale Games, a company closed in September 2018 due to seemingly unsolvable economic problems.

LCG Entertainment will operate under the Telltale Games brand and will republish the best games from the company’s catalog as well as develop new episodes of popular series and new IPs. Leading the “new Telltale” we find Jamie Ottilie and Brian Waddle, the two found the necessary funds for this operation thanks to a series of partners and investors like Lyle Hall, Tobias Sjögren and Athlon Games.

LCG / Telltale will have its registered office in Malibu while the operational headquarters will be in Corte Madera, California. The company is looking for new talent, moreover, it is announced that many of the employees dismissed last autumn were contacted to become part of the company.

At the moment there are no details on current projects, the first announcements of games under development will be announced in the coming weeks, so we are waiting to learn more. What do you think of Telltale‘s return? What games would you like to (re) see with sequels or new episodes?
