As we reported a few hours ago, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the line-up of games that will be presented again during the new edition of the Tokyo Game Show, the Japanese videogame fair now at the door.
As FromSoftware fans have been able to see, the publisher has not included the name of Elden Ring in the list of games that will be shown again at the TGS 2019. After being absent at the GamesCom in Cologne, many hoped that the new action-GDR directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki could soon be back in the spotlight, but apparently this will not be the case.
The Japanese software house, at this point, could adopt the same communication strategy adopted with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which was presented at the 2018 Game Awards with a cryptic teaser trailer and presented to the public several months later.
We recall that Elden Ring is expected on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at a still-unannounced launch date by Bandai Namco and FromSoftware. The game will be the studio’s first experiment that became famous for Dark Souls in the open-world genre. The writing of the lore and of the Celtic mythology on which the project is based was entrusted to George RR Martin, the famous author of The Chronicles of Ice and Fire.
