Blizzard denounced the Chinese studio Sina Games, accusing the company of having copied too closely World of Warcraft for it’s free to play a game entitled Glorious Saga.
The complaint dates back to August 16, Blizzard drags Sina Games to court stating that the company ” was severely damaged by Sina Games ‘ move “, the company is accused of having copied from all the major games of the Warcraft series and used assets from World of Warcraft , including audio tracks, vehicles, creatures, animals and some objects.
Even some names have been recycled without too many worries, including Jaina Proudmoore, Grommash Hellscream, Gul’dan, Malfurion and Illidan Stormrage, terms that WOW fans will not struggle to recognize. Even the app icon draws Blizzard games too closely, as the most attentive players will notice.
