As we learned in the past few hours, Capcom is preparing to remove the veils of a new episode of the Resident Evil saga during the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. Apparently, however, this will not be the only announcement by the Osaka company.
According to what we learn from the schedule diffused by Capcom for the TGS, on 15 September from 2.05 pm to 3.00 pm (local time) the publisher will hold a panel entirely dedicated to Nintendo Switch, which will discuss the so-called ” Capcom Adult Masterpiece Series “. The appointment, according to the little information on the official Japanese website, seems to testify to Capcom’s willingness to bring an ever-increasing number of titles to a mature audience on the hybrid console, as already demonstrated by the recent publications of a multitude of games from the survival horror series of Resident Evil.
At the moment it is quite difficult to make specific predictions, but it is likely that other portions of old Capcom games that will arrive for the first time on the hybrid of the great N. will be involved among the announcements.
All that remains is to wait for the start of the TGS 2019, with the fair that will welcome the official reveal of Project Resistance, the new episode of Resident Evil which, according to the first leaked images online, could present itself as a game based on online multiplayer.
Update: apparently this was a translation mistake and it's actually "Capcom Adult Masterpiece Series Special Stage"https://t.co/nYJY1hthZq
So this means we might hear about some new Switch ports of old Capcom games
