Pokémon Masters: Guide to Evolutions and Mega Evolutions

Have you just started playing the brand new Pokémon Masters, the free to play game available on iOS and Android devices? Then you definitely need some advice to find out some additional details about Evolutions and Mega Evolutions.

If you want to evolve the Pokémon of one of the pairs at your disposal, you will first need to make sure that the possibility to evolve for that specific creature is available. If a Pokémon has many evolutions and the one present in your pair is an intermediate one, you will have the certainty that there is no possibility of making it evolve. If you own a Pokémon instead in its initial form it is instead very likely that you can make it evolve, even if this does not apply to everyone (for example the Pikachu that you will receive in the early stages of the game cannot evolve into Raichu).

Once an evolving creature is present in your account, you will first need to get it to level 30. At this point, it will be necessary to procure a Reminder for Evolution in the Tricia Shop. The first one will cost you only 1,000 coins, but the price of the next ones will increase progressively, so it is good to think very well before making this investment whether it is the currency in play or real money (it is possible to buy the fragments through microtransactions). Once the purchase is completed you will have access to a special battle whose difficulty is quite high. Fortunately, you can repeat the battle an unlimited number of times, perhaps even raising your Pokémon’s level beyond 30. Once you are victorious from the battle, your Pokémon will evolve, experiencing an increase in all its stats and maintaining the same level of form previous one.

To further evolve the creature you will then have to reach level 45 and get yourself a Stone that is far more expensive than the fragment. The initial price is 5,000 coins, but be aware that this figure can go up to 300,000. If you meet all the requirements you can again face a special battle and reach the next stage of the Pokémon.

Some evolutions will not only enhance the monster from a numerical point of view but will also add special moves during which the Mega Evolutions could be activated. In short, evolving Pokémon is incredibly useful.
