As you well know by now, this morning Capcom has finally announced that it is working on a new episode of Resident Evil, whose code name is Project Resistance. We know practically nothing about the game but the tweet by Daniel Ahmad, a well-known insider who usually publishes information on sales data, may have revealed the full name of the title.
The message in question, unclear, contains a link back to a mysterious site whose link is residenteviloutbreak.com, which seems to contain absolutely nothing but the word “OK” in the upper left corner. It is therefore very likely that the game in development at the Osaka company is titled Resident Evil Outbreak and that the official website can come to life on 7 September 2019, the day on which Project Resistance will be officially presented.
According to the latest rumors, this Project Resistance would not be a classic survival horror focused on the single-player sector, but an adventure that will focus more on the online multiplayer aspect.
At this point there is nothing left for us to do but wait for the next few weeks to discover the future of the series, keeping in mind that on the occasion of the Tokyo Game Show 2019 it will also be possible to try the game with hand.
